A couple of days ago, Senator and Reverend Raphael Warnock used what was to become the title of this post as a description of, and thank-you to, Gloria Johnson of the Tennessee Three.
Reverend Warnock's fellow Georgian and my imaginary (on her part at least) Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was nowhere near as accepting. Far from it; she demonstrated a complete and utter lack of understanding of realpolitik when she said:
If ... fellow Republicans condemn ... statements - including ... a call for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to receive a bullet to the head, and ... claims that the Parkland and Sandy Hook school shootings were not real, they would be next on the cancel culture chopping block.
Translating the statement above from its native far-right, megalomaniacal, narcissistic, paranoid means of expression, Marge is saying that her fellow Republicans might be as much in the line of her fire as the radical, left-wing Democrat mob that is trying to take her out. Greene said further she is taking slings and arrows to save our country.
And she's frequenting a site called ar15.com, where she compared Donald Trump to Jesus. 'Nuff said.
